    Alexander Povetkin's Press conference today

Sauerland Event Managing Director Chris Meyer:

“The IBF has established special terms during which we should agree with the Klitschko party. Our negotiations should begin on May 17th, at once upon termination of negotiations between Klitschko and Haye. We have 30 days for negotiations. If we cannot finish them within thirty days, a purse bid will take place. Whoever offers more money will win. I’ve teen talking with very important people in Russia who want that fight was in Moscow. Kitschko-Haye probably will not take place in 2010 . We’re working on promoting Kitschko-Povetkin.”

Wladimir Hrunov, Povetkin’s manager on doping tests:

    "It's not a requirement but a wish"

"For today I do not have any doubts that Wladimir Klitschko does not take banned substances and goes through a competently organised training process"

Yes. Unlike Haye and his team, it seems like they genuinely WANT the fight now.

Povetkin-Wladimir will be a HUGE event in Russia.

Well I only wanted the Haye fight to shut him up anyway but when he ******* out like this and is quiet about it I feel like it's job done anyway.

Povetkin is a live dog but Wlad should walk him down. Gotta beware those decisions though....................

I thought Haye had to the 15th to refuse/reject or negotiate Klitschko's offer. Also, I've read that HBO is very interested in a Haye-Klitschko fight...

We won't know for sure for awhile...

What the Sauerland promoter is saying is that they will outbid Haye even if he wants it. The IBF rule is that the voluntary unification challenger has to outbid the mandatory.

HBO does want the fight, preferably in the US, and I have seen internet rumors on other forums that Haye is accepting. But if so, there is always a high risk that a week or two before any scheduled in September, Haye will ***** out again.

Fighting Povetkin in Moscow may bring more money, even without HBO.
