Serious Question: Can Antonio Margarito beat Manny Pacquiao?

Can someone convince me that this isnt a mismatch. Everytime I play this fight in my head I just see Pac going nuts on Tony and leaving him a bloody mess.

The size, strength pressure, volume punching, and making Pac fight going backwards might cause him a problem. Pac would have to box in this fight. Pac is can get hit with the upper cut. Marg has a nasty uppercut.

But, saying all that I don't give Marg that good of a chance to beat Pac. But, I give Margarito a better chance to beat Pac then say somebody like Berto at 147 or Cotto at 154 or Alexander at 140 or JMM above 140 and above.

Arum's thoughts: "This is a great fight for Pacquiao, he can go out on top in style, in an easy fashion."

Yes he has a good chance of beating Manny. I say 30-40% chance, although I do see Manny beating him. In all honesty Pac vs Marg will be one of those FOTY type battles, but I see Pac overwhelming him and winning a 8-4 type decision or possible a late TKO stoppage.

I see what you mean. I would actually give Marg more of a chance if I thoight Pac would go to war with him. I think Pac will box him, use his hand and foot speed and make him look silly. Pac can get away with it because Marg is so slow.

But he is tough and he wont stop coming and he does have a nice uppercut. Maybe he can catch Pac in the exchanges like he did Garcia. I know Marg hits harder then Clottey and Pac's face showed Clotteys power.

I think may and PAC beat him but he would be a tough fight for both. Don't let the mosley fight fool you.

I still wonder why May ducked him
