It seems that if a fan likes Floyd, then they despise Manny and vise versa, and you seldom if ever see a fan of both.....why cant a person be both a "*****" and a "*******", admiring both fighters?

I am a Floyd fan and I don't despise Pacquaio. I just don't think he deserves the accolades he is getting based on the guys he has fought. I said the same thing about Ricky Hatton. If you look at his record, he fought nothing but bums and over-the-hill fighters before his fight with Kostya Tyszu. In fact, before the Tyszu fight, he turned down a fight with Mayweather in what would have been Mayweather's first fight at 140. Beating Kostya Tyszu and Luis Collazo does not make a fighter great and those are the only two significant victories that he has on his record. With the exception of Marquez, Pac has never fought a great or even a really good fighter in his prime, so I think he is overrated.

If he fought and beat Andre Berto, Timothy Bradley, Devon Alexander or even Shane Mosley, I would give him props. However, if the Mayweather fight doesn't materialize, he will be fighting Antonio Margarito, which is exactly the same caliber of shot, vulnerable or b-level fighter he has been fighting for the last five years.
