I agree with this post fully . Old farts like larry merchant say floyd isn't as good as he is because he's dominated world class fighters so convincingly. But if he was in there getting his ass beat and barely pulling out a victory then he would be better??? That doesn't make any damn sense. Also, the bull**** about him ducking is just horrible.

that's not what merchant is saying. all merchant is saying is that he wants to see floyd in competitive fights. no one wants to see floyd cruise to a 12th round decision against jr WW, LW, and 38 year olds.

that's why floyd vs martinez is such a good fight (since he's ducking pac) because even tho martinez is 35, he's a young 35 and bigger than floyd.

Floyd "calls" every fighters out once yet doesnt fight them............Shane has been doing if for 5-6 YEARS papi YEARS, met him face to face like in the Marquez fight, and yets it took Floyd 6 years to agree to fight him.

Ok so whats the difference? Mosley was fighting on hbo making 1 million per fight. Had no fan base and was fighting on espn against Estrada not to long ago. Floyd is at the top now. He didn't have fight Shane at all. So how was floyd ducking if Shane wasn't? Same thing shane did floyd did.
