The article points out that The Cowboys are not using Texas stadium on Nov 7th and 14th. To my knowledge, floyd's team prefers the fight in Las Vegas. I'm guessing this means no fight. I'm hoping its just posturing by Bob.

I'm hoping that no matter what you think of floyd or his fans that all of you will agree Margarito should not get a chance to make. A lot of pac fans said floyd was ducking shane and you wanted them to fight. you didn't care that shane cheated. do you care that margarito could've killed Cotto or seriously injured him.

I'll just say this if Pac fights Margarito in November I never want to see any more posts about Manny being an honorable humble guy who fights for the fans etc etc. There is no reason Manny should fight Margarito. He is a cheater. he isn't a champion. he isn't top ranked anymore. He is a disgrace. That mother****er wasn't even mad enough to say he knew his handsa were wrapped.

If Manny is what all of you claim he is then he can't possibly agree to fighting Margarito. Why, if Manny can make BIG money fighting anyone, would he fight a guy who doesn't deserve it? Manny Pacquiao never mentioned wanting to fight Margarito this year-end, only Bob Arum, as a negotiations threat against PBF. The alternative would be Berto or the winner of Cotto vs Foreman for an 8th weight title. Common sense, nuff said.

Neither Berto nor yuri/cotto taps into the huge mexican ppv market. I hope you are right its just threats. But this is the same MO bob used durign the 1st negotiations for the original fight.

Well, I don`t agree but it wouldn`t matter to them. But Pac`s Mom and Jinky will definitely never agree, and that is a sure thing, moreover Pac has nothing to gain and everything to lose.

He already has a lot of money to give and doesn`t need a Margarito fight, this will never happen, I assure you.

It is just a negotiation tool, Berto is a much better option, tapping into the US market.

i have to hand it to Bob he is smart....he is hoping Foreman beats Cotto (which i think he will) so he can groom Foreman (a marketable and good looking guy) and he will be hoping Margo can beat Pac and get some legitamacy back.......and he can rebuild his status.

I agree, Margarito doesn't deserve anything. Pac would destroy him, it shouldn't be cotto-yuri aswell. Mayweather is the only logical choice but since that probably wont happen, he must settle for second best and hopefully that's not Margarito or I've lost all respect for Manny. Pac vs Marquez trilogy would be awesome though.
