Mitchell's been smacked around by Estrada, came close to being stopped by Johanneson and handily exposed Prescott's limitations.

Katsidis gave a hard fight to a still very live CASAMAYOR, gave a hard fight to rated young talent like Juan Diaz, and has solid veteran names like Chavez on his record.

Even allowing for wear and tear on Katsidis and the fight being in his opponent's back yard, you've got to give the edge to Mike in this. Anyone who thinks Mitchell can't potentially be stopped is dreaming, that's why I say he needs to be smart to win.

Katsidis also made a mountain out of a mole-hill with Earl

I'm not picking a winner, but im just saying both guys have flaws

And, even then, the first Malignaggi-Diaz fight was close.

Casa was pretty old - so what? It took Marquez to put a stop to him . . . that Casa is a handful for pretty much any active lightweight . . . it's Casamayor, and unless he's shot (he wasn't), he's a good name to say you shared a ring with and damn near had the beating of.

Of course Katsidis has flaws . . . he's Katsidis. Kevin's fundamentally better in a bunch of ways. But I have a feeling Mike's experience will show up in the attrition.

You're selling Earl very short, BTW.

See, Earl? If anything, I gave Mitchell too much credit by saying there would be much attrition - he got blasted aside with relative ease, couldn't even give Mike the fight that Graham Earl did.

That's not to say Kevin isn't still more talented than Mike, but his skills need to be fine-tuned, put together better, applied to some next level of strategy and then solidly tested before he could be deemed ready for a fledged, strong, experienced lightweight with an intense, swarming workrate who throws a lot of hard punches.

You spout some of the most simple-minded non-logic on the forum -- in every thread, the last one I saw you in you were assessing Johnson's chances in a Haye matchup with classic lines like "best win is over a failed olympian" -- it's only the passive demeanour enables you to get away with it without being labelled a troll.
