During Amir Khan's open media workout on Tuesday in New York City, BoxingScene.com discussed a delicate topic with trainer Freddie Roach - the possibility of Khan fighting Manny Pacquiao in 2011. Last week in the British press, Khan made a few interesting quotes regarding his future goals. According to the quotes, Khan said he would be ready for a fight with Manny Pacquiao and/or Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the next twelve months. I'm really sick of seeing "Roach says" or "says Roach".......one day he'll say one thing and a week later he'll say the complete opposite. I respect his expertise immensely but I'm starting to tire of him.Comment

I have a feeling Roach says a lot of **** because he KNOWS he says a lot of ****. Why the hell would he say one week that Floyd has very few flaws and is a great fighter and then the next week say that Floyd is very vulnerable and is very average. Roach knows he says **** that contradicts itself just to piss off certain people. He knows boxing is mental just as it is physical.
I just find it funny that many people on this board get so defensive when Roach mentions something they don't agree with. I just don't read into what Roach has to say anymore because the guy contradicts so much you don't know what's true.Comment
