Mosley wasnt a threat. It was never going to happen. Sergio Martinez has a real chance at winning this fight and is a much more dangerous opponent than Mosley was and probably a tougher fight than Pacquiao.Comment

I don't think you can say that Mosley wasn't a threat after he rocked Floyd with those two right hands.
Shane is probably the hardest hitter in the Welterweight division and was coming off a dominant KO win over the former champion. He was definitely a threat, just one that Floyd matched up well against stylistically and was able to mitigate effectively after the first two rounds.Comment

so what he's deserate you would be 2 if you were Martinez, he's taken all the fights that nobody wanted and now has the opportunity of a lifetime. Fight Paul for 800k million or fight Mayweather for 4 or 5 million. Mayweather gives every fighter their biggest pay day. Regardless I don't think Mayweather will ever fight Martinez and he's being used for negiotiations and nothing more.Comment

Make it Happen if Pac don't step up and take the test Martinez is a great second option this fight is bigger than the Pac fight because the Martinez fight will solidify Mayweather greatness by winning his 7 world title just like Sugar Ray Robinson did they will be beside each other in boxing history But Mayweather will retire undefeatedLast edited by MrClutch85; 05-12-2010, 01:18 AM.Comment

He had a punchers chance it doesn't make him a threat. He was only a threat in the sense that anything can happen in boxing. I had no doubts that the fight would play out like he did. Mosley was still good, but hes not on Floyds level. There is nothing negative to be said about Martinez, hes coming off 2 good fights, just won the MW belt and has talent. Hardest fight out there for Floyd.I don't think you can say that Mosley wasn't a threat after he rocked Floyd with those two right hands.
