Do you guys see Floyd moving up to 154 again? I think he's going to stay at 147.

will be the ones who will say....

oh well, Martinez was overrated, who he really beat, i mean he lost to Margarito and Paul Williams FFS!
He will not fight Martinez until Martinez is out of shape, worn out, at this moment he isn't even thinking about that that possibility. He fights just old out of their primes fighters or smaller fighters. He fought De la Hoya (35, out of his prime), Mosley(38 going to 39, out of his prime with a layoff of 18 month), Gatti (way out of his prime), Hatton (140 champ at 147 to have size advantage), Marquez (36 years old, champ at 135 at 147). That's his record. Only Castillo was in his prime and that was a great fight that Castillo won. Floyd won the rematch.
Now Martinez is in his prime, he had great performances so he will not fight him yet. He lets Martinez have 2 more fights with great fighters and then maybe he fights him. He wants Pacquiao because he is smaller and he knows that without "blends" he is just a regular vulnerable fighter on which he has the size advantage.

The Pac camp knew about Floyds desire for OST in mid December of 2009...Freddie is on camera to this effect...he also said "no problem" So why did they go through all of the negotiations and come to terms on everything with team mayweather, everything from the split, venue, gloves, the $10 mil per pound penalty and whose name would go first for promotional purposes......they had effectively nutted out an agreement and then ****!!! OST is a problem........

If this was the single biggest problem, hurdle, deal breaker or whatever in getting this fight done, why wasn't it at the top of the list when negotiations first started?? Why go to the negotiation table and agree on everything, then at the end team Pac says OST is an absolute deal-breaker???????

          ?????????

          ?????????

Pacfans.......got an explanation for me yet????

I really respect Sergio Martinez. Since he won the championships
at 160 and have had the chance to talk, I admire him and think he
is a genuinely good guy. Whoever he fights should be good. Would
like for it to be the Paul Williams rematch first because Mayweather
is going to rest for awhile and want to see Martinez back in the
              ring soon.

No way Mayweather would meet Martinez, too dangerous and big. My bet is he tries to get Khan if Khan wins.

There was nothing wrong with Williams. He decided to be SMART and come out boxing for once. If you watch his fights, he almost always gets into trouble early by being too eager to get to his opponent. He waited until the fight got going (4th round) before starting to smoke against Cintron, and it was going to work. The fans were lame for booing the fight so soon. Paul should stay away from Cali. Nothing but Mexicans who are still upset that he beat Margarito there.

Martinez fought on the 18th of April while Floyd fought on the first of May. Why should Martinez fight first Paul Williams, let Floyd fight Paul Williams and Martinez get a rest, or let them fight against each other. You Floyd fans are exactly like him, let Martinez fight in another war against a top notch opponent like Williams while Floyd rests after he beat 39 years old Mosley who didn't fight for 18 months prior to this match. You should say let Martinez or Williams fight Floyd now when their are at the top of their game not later when they get old and worn down.
So let Martinez rest and fight Floyd in September, but it will never happen, because Floyd will duck him.
