1 for me. 5 was total garbage - just terrible acting, especially when the No1 contender is trying to call out Rocky. I suppose you can forgive him but just about everything that comes out of Tommy Morrison's mouth is so bad it makes me laugh every time. Didn't get many of John Wayne's genes did he? I have to admit that the fight at the end is good though.

Anyway, even though these aren't really boxing movies, more get-hit-in-the-head-repeatedly movies, I do have to say that the first is a very good film. Though did you see Eddie Murphy's routine on them in Raw?

The sequels were less good, if still entertaining... Rocky's version of the Rope-A-Dope involves telling Mr. T he's not tough while he's smashing him flush in the head.

I never knew Tommy Gunn was a real boxer when I saw it (went off the sport at the time) and Ivan Drago, as everyone says, resembles a certain WBC champ right now...
