this is the problem why ppl say UFC is beating boxing, dana white matches fighters that are on the same level right then. that's what makes compelling cards, every f-in match on the card. boxing should be like that, every match should matter. if u fight well, u go up, closer to the title, if u fight bad, u come closer to being cut. easy, clear!

I have posted the exact same thing a few times, I think they should let it build up, I have seen many articles already building up this fight, if they are truly the best two fighters at 140 lbs then they should take out the others in that 140 division then meet up in a year or two for the big show down

In a perfect world, Tim and Devon would clean house at jww and possibly move up in weight, with the legends now retiring in a few years, and then take over that division too. They would then be huge superstars, make boxing a lot of money, and be the faces, but then we realize that it just isn't that simple. We need to remember this is boxing and at the highest level of competition anyone is one punch away from being completely derailed.

Take for example Angulo V Kirkland. This was a fight HBO wanted to build into a big event but at the moment it is dead and looks to have backfired badly. Legends can fight legends early in their career and the loser not see his career ended. Look at Bernard and Roy. Roy won and become the star but BHOP was able to fight on and become a pretty big name in the sport. IMO, you have to ride with what you got and not take such a big risk, in a risky sport itself.

Please, UFC isn’t doing well as people think they are. If boxing has stacked cards like they did. Every PPV fight would be over 1.5

Bradley is actually showing Alexander alot of respect. He wants to build on him and Bradley, so he feels no one besides himself can beat Alexander in the division. Jr WW is a very strong division, great things can happen without Bradley and Alexander having to face off.

                Let say Bradley beats Alexander
Then what, he fights Khan and Madiana. A totally step down in class. Instead get the bums/lower class fighters out of the way then fight each other

I know the fight aint happening because Bradley knows he can't beat Alexander. He knows it, his trainer knows it. And what's worse it seems his own promoter admits it.

ye does seem too soon, maybe they create another great trilogy in boxin history.

i think a light welter tournie sorts out whos the best:

                      bradley
                      alexander
                      khan
                      malignaggi
                      ortiz
                      campbell
                      judah
                      maidana
                      kotelnik
                      urango
