LOL... He just dominated the opponent that they were ducking and somehow that is supposed to make him "only an average fighter."

I'm happy for him. He can play with the big boys now.

      yeah sure

this dude is turning into a comedy show, just some ridiculous statements

but I get it, I think this is his way of trying to bait Mayweather into a fight without the test, I guess he thinks by him trash talking Mayweather, he will get upset and say "Make The Fight Happen We Don't Need The Test!" that is not going to work

Roach was just that good in analyzing and knowing the capabilities of pacs opponent, and he will be right on this one again.

If Floyd had any power what so ever maybe, but the way things look now, Pacquiao would probably close the show within 3 rounds. Manny will be the quicker fighter plus add the huge power difference and that means speed & power kills.

LOL at Roach getting under the mayweather fans skin. It's all part of the game people, he doesn't believe half the stuff he says himself.

Freddie Roach: "Floyd is only an average fighter at his current weight class"

What is very funny about Mr. Roach is, that he finds every opportunity to try and downplay Mr. Mayweather and his skills. Why? Let's be honest here. Back when Mr. Mayweather beat Mr. Marquez, just about every writer affiliated with every sports or news website tried to discredit the win, including Mr. Roach. Then when negotiations fell apart for the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight, Mr. Roach said that Mr. Mayweather had no-one else to fight and he would never take a fight with Mr. Mosley.

After it was reported that the fight between Mr. Mayweather and Mr. Mosley had been signed, then Mr. Roach stated that he was surprised to see that fight really being made, and he tried to again discredit Mr. Mayweather by saying that the fight will not go on because he thinks that Mr. Mayweather will come up with either an injury or another excuse to get out of the fight. Just for the people who will try and call me on this, Mr. Roach did pick Mr. Mayweather to win by UD.

All along, Mr. Roach forgot that he told everyone back in November of 2009, that if the fight is going to happen between Mr. Mayweather and Mr. Pacquiao, he would rather that it be made in the latter months of 2010, because Mr. Mayweather is a special fighter, and he will need time to come up with a solid gameplan for Mr. Pacquiao to try and beat him.

So now he is back to his old tricks because once again Mr. Mayweather has went against the nay-sayers, and proved them wrong, and Mr. Roach now says that Mr. Mayweather is slower, has no legs, and whatever else he can come up with to take away from Mr. Mayweather's skills and domination over Mr. Mosley. Why do that when the opposition is slower, has no legs, fights flat-footed, and got hit by 2 big right hands? Did it ever occur to Mr. Roach that maybe Mr. Mayweather meant what he said after the fight, that he wanted to give the fans a better type of fight? He wanted to show that he can stand toe to toe with a fighter that was regarded by many as the fighter that has more power, and is much more stronger than him, instead of moving every fight?

SO SUPPOSEDLY, SINCE HBO HAS THE NOVEMBER DATE OPEN FOR A POTENTIAL TOP RANK PPV EVENT, NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN THERE WILL BE A MAYWEATHER-PACQUIAO FIGHT? The truth of the matter is, Mr. Roach first off is not a negotiator, an advisor, manager, promoter, or business consultant to anyone. He is just simply a trainer. He likes to make it seem like he is doing something more than that. If Mr. Arum, Mr. Schaeffer, Mr. Haymon, Mr. Koncz, and Mr. Ellerbe have denied that negotiations will start as soon as today, why would Mr. Roach go to the media and tell them differently. Also it has been stated by all 3 promoters that they will not publicly make statements this time around until they have agreements and signatures on the contracts.

I know that Mr. Roach means well. I understand that he is trying to keep the hype and interest for this fight at a high level, but he needs to let the people that get paid for that, do their jobs. He also needs to focus more on getting his fighters prepared for their bouts instead of speculations to the media regarding Mr. Mayweather and Mr. Pacquaio. If the fight is meant to be, then it will happen. We are all wishing for the fight.

                    Everyone have a nice day.

I stopped reading half way through because it was so contradictory.

The fight will happen in November 2010

Bob Arum is on his way to the Phils to negotiate with Pacquiao

We will try to make it somewhere in the middle (in regards to the drug test).

                      The fight hasn't been negotiated.
