but you have to take into account also, that clottey messed up manny's face also---shane didn't mess up anything on floyd----and manny and his team ducked shane twice, maybe even more----

i don't feel manny has the best chance to beat floyd at all----manny is getting beat up bad fighting floyd----

floyd isn't diminishing either---he won 11 rounds on 2 scorecards and 10 rounds on the other one----floyd looked superb against shane---he just fought according to how shane fought----he made adjustments and dominated the ww champion----

it looks so dumb for team pac to fight the guy shane knocked out rather than floyd----floyd fought and dominated the guy who dusted margarito---it makes manny look really bad----

and floyd is as effective as he's ever been because he's a thinking fighter who keeps himself in shape and his skills trump manny's skills by a landslide---

You don't feel Manny has the best chance at beating Floyd, huh? Ok, I'll give you that; as I think Sergio and P-Will are 2 other fighters that would dust that mother ***ers ass, but at 147 Manny has the best chance at giving that boy a dirt nap. Especailly the way he looked against Shane. Everytime Shane hit that boy he hurt his ass, and that was a fighter that I hate to say, but Shane was past it. He was just jittery, stationary target, with his guard down just asking to be hit who was already tired by the 5th rd. Shane was indeed damn lucky that Floyd is mercyful fighter who doesn't go all out for KO because if that would have Manny; he would would have been out of there in 8. As for this Manny ducked Shane... How the hell did he duck him when the plan was always to fight Miguel Cotto? How do you call that a duck when he was already signed to fight Cotto? Which was already in the works as his next opponent after he beat Ricky Hatton? A guy that already had beaten Shane...so what the hell are you talking about? Get the facts straight buddy...



The boy looked slower then what I've seen him in years past. His handspeed and precision was there, but his legs were not. He didn't run either as I'm usually accustom to seeing him do quite a lot. He sat in the pocket an even walked Shane down (which I hope he does that against Pacquaio), but it still was not impressing to me. Considering that (I expected Shane to show alittle more) Shane was just nothing more but the shall of his former self, (against a fighter that was at his peak )who just had no gas left in the tank to challenge Floyd. I like Shane and I don't want to sound like I'm putting him down, but the truth is he had nothing left.


Didn't look sharper, no he looked ***ing 10 times better. He Dusted the *** out of De la hoya who took Floyd the distance, Knocked Ricky Hatton into the ***ing twilight Zone in 2 rounds, literally beat the *** out Miguel Cotto, and won every ***ing round against Clottey who basically closed up shop...the boy stopped 3 out of 4 of his opponents, and won every round against the other one... Didn't look sharp? If that ant sharp -- then I don't know what you call that because you can't be any more dominating then that buddy. I hope your right buddy...I hope Floyd fights the same way he did against Shane...I want to see him try and walk Pacquiao down because Pacquiao ant no 38 year old figher out of gas who is just going to be a stationary target asking to be hit. Pac may get hit, but so will Mayweather, and I for one do not see him being able to go a full 12 hard rounds with Pacquaio who is going to swarm his ass with speed, in out movement, side to side, angels, and combinations that are going to break this boy down from start finish, and with the best trainer of this era in his corner....look for Manny to defy the odds again and shock the world once more.... I for one don't believe an with the betting line heavly favoring Floyd bet your ass I'm going to take the odds on Manny...that's how much I don't believe.

Really?!? because I've never seen anyone take advantage of him being off balance in almost 10 years. Pac's footwork has changed dramatically within the past 3 years...maybe you don't know how to watch feet during fights?!?

I can say that Manny Pacquiao looks exceptionally
fast and evasive against slower, come forward fighters
but we have yet to see him in the ring with someone
just as fast or faster than him foot work wise.
