I agree that he is the better athlete (even mentioned it above), but in the skills department, I think we will see that Ward is better than Dirrell.

This is true. But I don't see Dirrell really using his size much. Nor do I see him really putting his punches together. And man, he has been so sloppy with his footwork. I see Ward making him pay for that, maybe even putting him down since he seems to be off balance alot.

I can't wait to see it, its the fight I'm really looking forward to.

I think Ward is an overall better boxer. Dirrell is just more slick/mobile than Ward, he is like an Ali type of boxer. I think Ward can adjust better to different styles than Dirrell too. Lol, then again, I just like Ward more than Dirrell.

All very interesting points. So guys, I'm willing to give 3-1 odds. Make your bet, I got Dirrell.

You know I don't bet Dom. But if you want to donate me points when Ward wins that all good!

Anyone worried about his knee and how that might affect his career? I was watching the Camou fight recently and he was wearing a knee brace though I think that was shortly after he had surgery on that knee. However, that was in December of '08 and he's still having issues with it and of course that being the reason the Green fight was delayed. It it was something else I might not think as much about it but I've heard so many bad stories about knee injuries...

Ward is cut from the same cloth as Mayweather Jr - you can just tell by his mental state.

          Hard Work
          Dedication
          Smart fighter
          Ability To Adapt

All his pro fights he's dominated ..

I think Andre Dirrell is a great fighter and I'm a fan. I had him winning the super six before any fights took off but since I saw the Froch fight I saw something in him that made me think that he won't quite cut championing it and that's his mental state. Then you see Ward, and he's a whole different kind of animal.

          Hard Worker
          Dedicated
          Undeafeated - Olympic champion
          Mentally strong
          Smart fighter

It's no wonder Mayweather Jr called him up before his fight because he sees the same thing.

A fight between Dirrell vs Ward will see Ward victorious.

Not to harp on Devon too much, but Cunningham wanted him to get low, as he was pulling out like Dirrell to much, and getting caught. It looks flashy when Dirrell does it, but it's playing with fire.
ya'll should be more worried about that little jump out of the crouch position from ward with his chin in the air, asking to get waxed by a dirrell counter, and we all know how deadly those are

I know Dirrell's your hometown guy and all, man, but Ward is in a different league. Way more rounded, just way better, period. Dirrell was the one generating most buzz on here going into the tournament, but I knew that after the first round was done it would be Ward pulling the accolades back his way, and that's how it worked out.

Dirrell is a lot of flash but not near as much substance, relatively soft - Ward is braver, smarter, more versatile, has the deeper skillset and has the athletic abilities and strength, too.

                    If Ward isn't P4P #1 material, Dirrell sure isn't.

I speaking from a defensive standpoint.

We all saw Ward get a bit carried away against Kessler and leave himself open a bit during a few of the middle rounds. But don't think that Ward can't time Dirrell when he pulls out.

Dirrell is faster than Ward, but the gap between the two will be much closer than Dirrell's last two fights with Froch and Abraham.

I won't be betting on this fight.
