After seeing what Montiel did to the Japanese champ, Vic does not want Montiel on the opposite corner!!! and as far as Vazquez or Marquez goes...they will kill him even if they are on their last leg.

I rather see montiel vs donaire , donaire is top rank, and montiel i think is co promoted with TR, so That would be a way better matchup.donaire already agreed and the last minute darchiniyan was ready to pull the plug over bs international tv ,as far as Marquez/izzy, fuck Vic, go for the money.at this point they deserve to look for matches with more money.

What most people don't know is that Vic has been wanted to fight Vazquez for several years. He has sparred with him a few times and for whatever reason, he believes he can beat him. Hell his whole move up to 118 was an attempt to chase a fight with Izzy. I wouldn't mind seeing it if Izzy can somehow make 122 or maybe a catchweight of 124.

Honestly I wouldn't be shocked if Vic beat Montiel and even knocked him out. Vic is only going after Izzy right now because that is his dream fight....one that he has wanted for years.

LMAO at all the idiots who are complaining about vics opponent selection. There are a handfull of guys who have fought the opposition he has, in his last 7 fights he fought #s 1,3,4,5 at the the time in his divison then went up to face a top 3 guy at 118. Now he wants to go up to 126 to fight Vazquez/Marquez and you idiots are making it seem like his cherry picking. WTF moving up from 115-126 to fight anybody is huge stretch not to mention fighting vazquez or marquez. I didn't see any of you caliing pacman a cherry picker when he moved up to fight an old ass delahoya. And for those donaire and montiel bandwagon jumpers keep in mind that Donaire has fought 5 nobodys in the last 3 years and montiel's first live opponent since martin castillo 2.5 yrs ago was a few weeks ago. So before you guys talk **** look up who your favorite fighters have been fighting.
