Who Fought Bigger or More Bums: Ali or Joe Calzaghe

Reading comprehension appears to be a skill that is lacking from the people who responded. The question wasnt, "Who fought better fighters." If it was, a list of Ali's best wins would be appropriate. The question was who fought the bigger bums and more bums. Again, the average winning percentage of fighters Joe fought was 20% higher than the average winning percentage of Ali's fights. Joe's opponents werent paid off like Liston, they didnt force Joe to cheat like Cooper did to Ali and Joe never outweighed his opponents by 40 lbs.

Its humorous you list Floyd Patterson as some huge win, I suppose you believe Marquez was a giant win for PBF too. Because Ali had a huge weight advantage, I mean gigantic, Patterson would have weighed in as a cruiser today and Ali used his size advantage in that fight. So again, I hope youre a huge PBF fan, because under your logic, PBF is clearly the greatest of all time.

Should be noted that almost half of Ali's wins were against people with double digit losses, he once fought a man who was working security that night, a man who was gut shot, several people weighing 2 weight classes below modern HW (and ali was 220 at the time), a gut shot fighter with no intestines, and Archie Moore who was fighting his 300th pro fight and was 75 at the time.

They both had the balls to step in the ring, while you are behind a computer screen thinking you're a bad ass. And the weakest fighter on their resume would probably put you in a coma you nerd.

Muhammad Ali is called 'The Greatest' for a reason. For purposes of convenience i will merely list the top/solid fighters he beat(for now).

Sonny Liston(twice)- Paid off
Floyd Patterson (twice)- Cruiserweight
Zora Folley- 37 years old, 90 fights at the time, cruiser weight
Ernie Terrell- shot fighter, lost 3 times that year alone
Ron Lyle-Ali fought him 2 months after he had just lost
Oscar Bonavena-This is a joke right?
Ken Norton(twice)- Norton was Ali'ed won all 3 fights. Watch them.
Joe Frazier(twice)- Frazier shot after first fight. Won 5 of last 10 fights.
George Foreman(only man to ever KO Foreman)-Wouldnt rematch him
Earnie Shavers(not really a top fighter but one of the biggest punchers of all time and Ali beat him when he was himself waaaaay over the hill).-Shavers won, watch fight. And if youre giving credit for this, you have to take credit away for getting beat by Spinks who had 6 pro fights.

As for Calzaghe well he did fight some bums(as all fighters do) but he had a good career had terrific handspeed and a solid chin and big heart too.

Ali=most overhyped thing of all time and again the question was who fought more bums since I notice people on here say Joe fought a lot of bums. Please tell me why in 1973 the great Rudi Lubbers, with 15 pro fights, wighing 195 lbs, ike many Ali opponents coming off of a loss, was fighting Ali?

Again you cant argue. Guarantee I can name more bums that Ali fought than you can name bums joe fought. Joe gets trash for fighting RJJ, Ali fought 50 year old, Light heavyweight Archie Moore.
