I like Moreno a lot but everyone recognised Hasegawa as the bantamweight kingpin, right? So it's only fair that the dude who knocks him the **** out takes his spot. Plus it's not like Montiel isn't on the back of an excellent career as well; he's well worth his new #1 spot IMO.

That is because people didn't know what the hell they were talking about.

Perez had more better wins recently then Hasegawa did.

Moreno also had better wins recently then what Hasegawa did.

Bantamweight has been wide open. There was no kingpin.
