That was Williams's corners plan. To get him to box.

I dunno why they tried to make him do it, when he clearly sucks at it. His jab appears to be useless.

They should just improve his technique, and his pressure style.

Agree with you here. I think Williams and co underrated Cintron's boxing ability and were too concerned with his power. The minute Williams put the pressure on it started to turn into a fight. Before that that, Williams was getting badly outboxed.

Good thing for Williams Cintron is a *****.

I hear you. But I think it is too far in PWill's maturation, to have him try to change. Not saying he can't. But he is a high volume, great heart, type of fighter. That's the combo that work's for him. And god bless the WW division if he can still make that weight....

Second, Cintron proved my point that Williams is juts height and reach nothing more. Dude gets outbox by anybody with decent boxing skills. Cintron isnt even a good defensive fighter and he made Williams look like a clown. 13% connect % in 3 and 1/2 rounds? 2 out of 76 jabs? I mean really? Then his chin isnt all that either. He has benn rocked a lot lately. He gets Dropped and badly hurt by a feather fisted SWW at MW? Then in the cintron fight, Paul lands the only left hand he landed in the fight and right away his knees buclke from and counter right from Cintron?

And your excuse is that Williams was just warming up? Why we have to believe that and not Cintrons part of teh doctors not letting him fight?

**** Outta here Burner, Williams is just height, reach and volume. His defense sucks and his chin is questionable.
I admire his desire to fight the best, his heart and determination but he aint no elite fighter. Watch him get thrown to the wolf and getting KTFO. Hell beat a lot of top cats no doubt. Hs phisical advantges over some people are very significant.

By the way, Cintron is a straight up Drama Queen!!
What else could you expect from that ******ed *****. He thinks Williams is bulletproof and can walk on water. The guy is a ******ed fanboy who will say anything to make excuses for his idol.

Williams started slow because that was a part of his strategy. Did you not listen to anything that was being said in the corners?

Cintron lacks heart but his skills are really underrated on these boards. He'd be a problem for Pac, Floyd, Shane...you name it.

                Damn clowns!
You're the clown for not paying attention to detail. Judging is not only based on punches landed. It's also based on effective aggression. Kermit Cintron didn't initiate one exchange with Paul Williams. Every single punch Kermit threw was a counter of some sort. If Kermit wasn't initiating the action then who was? Paul Williams.

So it's more than conceivable that Williams could have been up by a round going into the 4th. The 20-30 seconds that the 4th round lasted, Williams was winning.

He hurt Cintron with the second left hand he landed in the 4th round as well. If you need to, go back and re-watch round 4. Williams lands a flush left to begin the round that drives Cintron near the ropes. The second left that Williams lands in that round buckles and stuns Cintron for a brief moment.

After that is when Cintron got raggedy and started winging his punches. Shortly after the Puto is throwing himself through the ropes. I bet Cintron ****ted himself that night as well.

Yup, and landing 13% (or whatever it was) and 3% jabs is very effective!
