Well Bute is considered the top dog at 168 by some posters, and all he's done to earn it is beat up on the Andrades of the world.

Pavlik-Andrade, Pavlik-Bika, Pavlik-Brinkley are all Pavlik's fights.

I'd love to see him fight Kessler or Froch if either of them get knocked out of the Super 6 after the group stage.

where u rank bUte at? IMO he is in the running to make a crack at the top spot , but I think for sure ward ices him . it would be ok to have pav vs froch, I think he would take froch, but kess would beat him IMO.

Pavlik-Steiglitz sounds good to me. A fight for a belt and it gets him going at 168. Then he can move on with a fight against Bute. Unless he feels froggy now and he can jump right in with Bute. Also and I may be way off base here but there had been rumblings of Fernando Vargas coming back as well as Felix Trinidad continually throwing his name in the mix for big fgihts, those could be 2 remote possibilities. A 3rd fight with Jermain Taylor if he indeed returns might do well also.

As far as Martinez is concerned, the door is wide open for him as someone mentioned earlier. Margarito, Williams, Pacquaio, Mayweather and unification with Sturm who might be much more willing to fight Martinez than Pavlik. A Margarito or Sturm fight should happen in Argentina as a homecoming. That would be huge

He should stay away from Bute cuz he has a similar style 2 Martinez. Good movement, good hand speed, a southpaw with more power 2. He should go after the guys with no real skill in the division like Froch and Kessler. They just come foward and throw punches, that'll be perfect for Pavlik.
