Cintron was definitely on his way out!

I just re-watched the entire fight for the last and final time. I actually noticed something very important that I didn't even realize before: Cintron was hurt right before he dove out the ring.

If you re-watch the 4th round start it from the beginining. Williams is instructed by his corner to pick up the pace and start using more speed. About 10-15 seconds into the round, Williams lands a booming left hand (cintron countered with a left hook that landed) that sends Cintron's body inches away from the ropes.

Williams then lands another left hand that actually shocks Cintron's entire body. Look at Cintron's reaction to the punch; his entire body slumps down for a split second. At that point in the fight I believe Cintron was hurt.

To Cintron's credit he followed it up with a hugh right hand that stunned Paul. Cintron followed up with another right hand that was wide and loopy (and missed). The punch looked like it had zero power. He was starting to fight sloppy at this point. It's at this point that I feel Cintron was beginning to question himself once again because right after that he jumps out of the ring.

I seriously doubt Cintron requests a rematch with any sincerity. He knows good and damn well he can't beat Paul Williams.

Cintron's game plan was to counterpunch Williams all night long. If you watch this fight in its entirity, you'll be hard pressed to find a moment in which Kermit Cintron iniatiated a punch. The only time Kermit punched was when Paul punched. Check out for yourself.

It took one left hand from Paul to make Kermit question himself. LOL!

A Rematch? What rematch? LMAO! It ain't happening...

The doctor, Paul Wallace, is now defending himself. According to Wallace, Cintron was asked twice if he was able to continue and both times he replied "no." Wallace said he would have allowed the fight to restart if Cintron had indicated that he was capable of continuing.

"I did say I wanted the fight stopped because the fighter twice said he could not continue He was asked, 'Can you continue?' and he said 'no.' Twice. If he had mentioned to me something like, 'Give me a moment ... ,' I understand; these are warriors. Any hint that he still wanted to participate we would've given that to him. We would have got him up and given him a second evaluation," Wallace told The LA Times.

Once Wallace called the fight, he claims Cintron changed his mind and wanted the fight to continue.

I've watched the fourth round over and over but still dont know if he really did jump out or not! I mean P.will was defiantly turning the heat up with those exchanges, both took some big shots. The only reason i think Cintron done it is because things were heating up he didn't fancy exchanging to much with big Paul. Cintron was doing really well though so it was a dumb move by him

Very dumb move. I think it was an emotional one though. He was comfortable just sitting back, not iniating an exchange and waiting to counter Paul. Once Paul turned up he started fight raggedy again like he did against Margarito.

Williams as the one who was hurt right before he "dove" out the ring.

Nail on the head. When Paul was trying to be Mayweather Cintron was feeling good "like this gon be easy". Then when Paul turned up the heat and started being the Paul we know he wanted out.

If they rematch Williams stops him in the first.

This is not the FIRST time that the doctor, Paul Wallace has had to defend himself. He seems to attract controversy, and i wouldn't rely on ANY excuse he gave for acting as he did.

It was HE who stopped the Klitschko-Lewis fight, eventually giving THREE different reasons, on 3 seperate occasions as the reason for his action. He was wrong on all three, and did Klitschko out of the Heavyweaight Titles by his ******ity (by accident or design, I don't know).
