I consider myself a fan of Mayweather.I don't care for his lame,pre school trash talk that may appeal to those within the hip hop community....but the man is a genius in the ring.


There is no greater fighter today than floyd Mayweather.There isn't a single fighter of this era that can compare.


I say all this as a fan of Mayweather.I can also say that as a fan of floyd Mayweather that he most certainly ducked Margarito and Cotto.



You can understand Mayweather ducking Margarito in 2006,but there was no excuse for running out on a huge welterweight showdown in 2008 between two elite,undefeated fighters between he and Miguel Cotto.

If you would have paid attention u would have notice the setup from the start. cotto was being groomed as the next to cross over. He was suppose to outclass margie then fight odlh. Then set up the mega bout between he and pbf. He failed, then margie got stomped by ssm. So they inserted pacq into that slot a few years later and now u have them two primed to meet in the mega bout.

pbf fights in nothing less than superbouts. true he ducks fighters, but they all do. risk/reward equation. hence margie aiming for pacq and failing to mention the names of PW or SSM, the guys that clearly beat him. See how it all works now.
