no the rules are 100z glvoes for 147 and if you come in vioerweight the commission has their own rules for that so none of those are jusify by anything if manny wants to make changes to the commission rules that benefit him why cant floyd addd something that will help the sport...now do i think he was doing ti for the sport no lol but does it help the sport yes it does i think he did it because he thinks manny is on soemthing and dosnt want him toc ome in dirty which he has every right to protect himself if someoen is dirty he jsut says for the sport because it will get more people behind him

i dont see a prob with the blood tests, with so much money involved it is obviously not a financial concern.

having said that, i would expect a fighter to get determined, take the tests then beat his ass in the ring then tell everyone after the post fight test that he is clean and always has been.

does anyone know how much they extract for each test? because giving blood does weaken you for a day or two, depending how much you give

mayweather like him or not is right about random blood and drug tests in boxing because it's different to other sports your health and life is on the line mayweather accepted pacquiao's demands the 8oz gloves 50/50 purse split even though floyd got better ppv numbers on the same 3 opponents he also accepted the ****** $10million dollar fine for every pound over weight but pacquiao can't accept a test which mayweather is going to take as well for a $40million dollar fight only people who do that are people who got something to hide i hope this fight get's done so money mayweather can beat pacquiao and hopefully these *******s will be gone because their are fans of pacquiao not fans of the sport of boxing

Like De la Hoya said, Mayweather dictates what happens in the negotiations with a Pac fight. For starters, he averages more PPV buys per PPV event. Against common opponents, he sold much much more PPVs. He definitely deserves 60-40 in his favor. Pac got everything he wanted (minus the stricter drug testing thing) the first time they tried to make the fight, Mayweather shouldn't let that happen again.

Mayweather needs to stick to his guns with the stricter drug testing. Mosley admitted to taking steroids yet he never tested positive for ANYTHING illegal. The only way we knew was because he admitted it. How many more boxers are out there that take steroids or any other illegal substance that don't test positive? Guys like James Toney and Fernando Vargas got caught AFTER their fights. Don't you think cheaters should get caught before they step foot in the ring? The system is obviously flawed. Is Floyd's way the best way to do it? Maybe, maybe not, but he's trying. I don't get why he gets criticized for doing something that NEEDS to be done. I heard they don't even drug test in Texas. With the NSAC considering blood testing in Nevada, I don't see Pac ever wanting to fight in Vegas again.

For anyone that thinks Mayweather used the drug testing as an excuse to get out of the Pac fight, Mayweather is no psychic, how would he ever thought Pac was going to say no to stricter drug testing?? Did he also know Pac was going to say no to 14 days cut off? People need to come up with new excuses to put the blame on Mayweather, cause that one doesn't make sense.

People saying that Mayweather has never asked for this before, why now? Well at one point, someone decided to switch fights from 15 rounds to 12 rounds. It all has to start somewhere. Why not the biggest fight in the history of boxing?? When was the last time the best 2 fighters in the world in any weight class fought each other? When was the last time a fight was guaranteed to smash all records? When was the last time anyone anticipated a fight as much as this one? Why not implement a stricter drug testing program to show the world that the best fighters in the world are all natural? It all has to start somewhere, why not then? What if he asked Marquez and Marquez said "he didn't ask Hatton"... What if he asked Hatton, Hatton would of said "he never asked Oscar"... It all has to start somewhere!!

I'm calling Manny's bull****. At first he kept saying he wanted a 30 day cut off date. Then a video came out showing him getting blood taken 24 days before his Hatton fight... So then Pac said he wanted a 24 day cut off date. But again, 19 days before his clottey fight, there is a video of him getting blood taken. So I guess he has no problem giving blood, just as long as it's not for drug testing!!! His excuse for making him weak is BS too. see i wouldnt be mad if mayweather asked for random blood test manny stated from the jump i never tested postive for anything and i will go by the commission rules and thats it i would of respect that but i dont respect it when you agree to it and roach says on video we agree to the random blood test and floyd will jsut come up with another excuse not to fight us but then you throw out u want 8oz gloves and 10 mil per pound and he agrees and then u come back and say well we will do 3 random test when i know when the dates are and a 30 day cut off and give bs reasoning behind it then it will make me wonder and will want more testing even more now you can say im afraid of needles no my religion no it weaks me no hes being a bully and just keep chaning it every time and expect people not to accuse you now
