Oh? You didn't know about that?

Oh, yes. The "genius" Pacquiao simultaneously signed with BOTH Top Rank AND Golden Boy Promotions. Delahoya met Pacquiao in a restaurant, and pacquiao couldn't read the contract. Pac then accepted a briefcase with $250K in cash (or was it $500K?) in the back seat of Oscar's limo.

The dude signed with competing promoters. Which is why he is currently paying TWO promoters. Giving up about 30% of his purses.

      "Real men of genius."

Exactly, it was a conscious choice, and even with the money taken from him, he still has far more than you or I.

Hell, forget reading the contract. COMMON FRIKKIN SENSE should tell you that you can't sign with two promoters.

Why was Pacquiao so poor? because his deadbeat dad abandoned the family?

Pacquiao is a near illiterate. Deal with it.
Haha, what language was that contract in? PAC just started speaking english. All he saw was money in a bag.

Even if his dad didn't leave, his family would still be poor. Its a hard life back home in the PI. I can tell you don't know about other countries outside of the USA. Your ignorance of alot of things just shines through!

Pacquiao is still illiterate. Throwing stones at the next guy doesn't repair your own ****.

The reality is that Pac's Filipino father was a deadbeat dad who abandoned teh family in desperate poverty.

I can't imagine ANYTHING more ****** than abandoning your kids.

              Yup.

He may be near illiterate but he's a congressman now. Man, just writing that makes me think of the movie Idiocracy ("My first wife's tarded. She's a pilot now.")

PAC's problem was his naivete, M*n*ey Mayweather's problem was he thought he was smart, but in the end, it proves he's the real *d*ot.

I know that TWO incomes is better than ONE. I know that a father staying to help his family is better than a father abandoning his family.

Say what you want about FMS. But while Floyd Senior was training his son, manny's father abandoned his children.

                    It's so true though.
If it was Mayweather denying all these tests, giving ****ty excuses, he would get ****in slaughtered.. But because it's Manny, he gets a free pass.. You know, because he's the peoples man and your idol, god, whatever you want to refer to him as. It is hypocritical, so it's important to stay objective.. But of course you won't do that, that would be too much to ask right? Try to reverse the situation and tell me what you would think and say then? Would you still hate on the tests and defend the excuses the Mayweather camp would come forward with? Or would you do like any sane person would do, which is to question the credibility of the camp and the fighter?

It is notable that certain people chose an illiterate boxer as their legislator.
