Did manny petition the governing commission for extra weight penalties?

So, again.... you are focused upon the delivery mechanism. But guess what? THAT ****IN SHIP HAS SAILED.

The Commissions and governing bodies (and sanctioning bodies) have been consistently inconsistent and unreliable. What do you think the Muhammad Ali law was all about?

Are Kessler, Abraham, Ward and Povetkin waiting on Commissions?

The bulk of the damage to the sport has been done BY COMMISSIONS!!
Selective memory? JMM/Floyd had a contracted weight of 144. Floyd had an advantage from the get go.

Didnt Pacquiao say he was fine with the testing, as long as Maywether just had to do the same thing? thats not unreasonable at all.
You gave a pint. Manny is giving a small fraction of a pint.

And what is Floyd - some bloodless automaton? Floyd is a weak, running, feather-fisted "gayfeather" who has sex with ellerbe. Yet, miraculously, he can lose endless amounts of blood with no adverse effect.

        Right?

Coach, I'll say this again. I think Manny will retire. First, he doesn't want to undergo OST. Second, he's a congressman now, all over the world people worship this man. He's not going to risk all the praise he's getting for a fight against Mayweather. He and his team would much rather leave everything a mystery.

You are not answering the question.

Why doesn't manny entrust THE ****IN Commission to deal with weight penalties?

Why does manny feel that he has to take weight penalties into his own hands?

Why the hell are you still talking about that dumbass weight penalty? Floyd didn't even negotiate that weight penalty because he knew he could make weight. Pac, on the other hand, decided to make some dumbass excuse(s) why he couldn't take some random blood tests.

In summary, one term of the contract (weight penalty) was plain ass ******.

perhaps, but all the same it would worry me a little bit. and Manny does train pretty intensely.

either way, as long as Mayweather does what Pacquiao has to do, the testing is perfectly fine. and thats what Pacquiao said too.
I dont really see the problem.

                the fight should be happening.

                  • This is my take on the situation, and it may in fact be my last take on it...I grow very tired of reading and hearing about it.

I see that some posters have made it their life mission to throw as much dirt on Manny until he is buried alive.

I really don't know what to think anymore, but I really don't think Manny is on steriods, or HGH.

                    Here is what I think...

I have been working out most of my life (five days a week for about 18 years), and I have seen folks, and known folks that were on, or have taken steroids.

Now the word nutritionist has always bothered me. That is in any sport. Those guys come in and put fighters/athelets on programs, most of them involve vitamians and supplements. Now back in the day creatine was not filled to the brim with all kinds of crap...You can still find it today if you look(not filled with crap). The problem that I think Manny and his team will face, are the fact that most of the supplements on the market today, or some new supplements that have yet to hit the market, but is in use by athletes, contain banned items...Not steriods or HGH...

For the last couple of weeks I have been speaking to a cat at my gym that boxes, and he is a personal trainer/nutritionist. He happens to think that if Manny does fail a test, it will be from one of the many things that is an ever growing list (OST) of items contained in some of these "supplements".

For example (I forgot what alot of this crap was called), he took 3 main creatian supplements off the shelf, and then grabbed a list out of the back office (things they need to inform folks that are thinking about starting a "program") he pointed out about 25 different things on each bottle that is contained in the product, and that will show up as a banned item on the drug list.

In my view, if Manny doesn't pass the test, it will be cause of one of these banned items. Will that mean he is clean? No...But I really don't think he is on steriods or HGH.

The way Mannies "program" was explained a while ago (the shakes and what not), always reminded my of two athletes in particular.

                    Terrell Owens and Shannon Sharpe.

Both of these men have amitted to taking at least 40 different pills a day. Also two or three shakes a day. A program designed by their nutritioninst.

Terrell to my knowledge has never tested positive. Sharp once did a show (on a local denver station) where he stated that the league (NFL) did not approve of his contract with EAS, and was trying to find him dirty. He was tested more than any player in the NFL that year. He always came back clean.

Not saying Manny is clean, but there is a possiblity that he is on a clean "program".....

On A Side Note: There was an NFL player (rookie defensive player of the year for this past season) who tested positive for a banned substance.

This was about a week ago. He did not test positive for anything like roids or HGH, but a masking agent...Reports show that yes you can clean your system with a masking agent, but that will lenger in the body for about three weeks, to a month...

                    My point-

24 days out, 14 days out, no cut off, whatever! Make the fight happen! If he is dirty, he will get caught. If not, so be it.

                    Sorry for the long story

And mayweather has said EVERY STEP OF THE WAY that he would do the exact same testing process. Do you guys really think that the mayweathers run USADA? Seriously?
