I agree,I loved him when he fought,one of my favorites.

He was definetely one of the most precocious fighters maybe ever,the youngest amateur national champ ever(the age limit was changed after he won it),the youngest member of an Olympic team ever,the youngest junior middleweight champ ever and one of th youngest to be rated in the top 15-20 p4p,some even had him in the top 10.
He was rushed by his management for one reason or the other and that hurt him not to mention his indiscipline and health problems but boy he was entertaining.
The Trinidad fight was awesome,one of the best 154 fights ever,the Quartey fight is underrated as far as entertainment goes,that round 6 was the ****,etc.
Like him or hate him Vargas was good for the sport.
