If Khan can get his career on track after losing to the likes of Prescott I have no doubt with the media spin machine behind him he can come back very quickly. He has a niche following that will support him whatever the outcome. Real boxing fans already have their doubts about him a loss will lose their interest but most have given up on him already. His spin machine will say he arrived too early, has not been with Roach long enough to develop fully and the loss is a blessing in desguise and he will have time to bring on his skills to be a world beater now the presure is off.
Malignaggi has said many times he is at the end of his career and does not have many fights in him because of his hands. It is pension time for him and this fight will determine his retirement plan. a win will set him up for more payouts. This fight is more make or break for him than it is for Khan.

Lots of people doubting Paulie here. In his last two fights Ive seen a different attitude in Paulie. He seems much more serious and that he realizes what is on the line. Heck, if Paulie wins this fight, he could be looking at a huge payday for his next fight. Paulie has Italian blood in him. Italians like Joe Calzaghe, Rocky Marciano, and Rocky Balboa do not feel pain like normal humans. They have also done studies and their hearts are twice as big. They also sweat more which makes them harder to hit. I just cant see a man with Italian blood losing to a Pakistani-British product of inbreeding.

Thankfully there's absolutely no risk because he's fighting Paulie.

I don't understand why so many people are taking Malignaggi as a walkover for Khan.. He's far from it.. Ok he's not facing a puncher but Paulie has got quick hands, a good snappy jab, good movement and is quite elusive: all of which Khan has not been faced with before.. And he's not facing a fighter who's on the downslide.. So i actually think it's a good step up for him..

Prediction: Khan will have a decent start without any problems but once it gets to the middle rounds it will turn into a mini-war.. In the end Khan will get a close but clear Unanimous Decision 115-113..

whats interesting is how khan will get out of a fight with the likes of bradley and alexander if he gets past paulie. paulie isnt scared of nobody and he will fight them, but khan? not so much..

im looking forward to their fight too though, if he gets knocked out by paulie thats proof he doesnt have the chin to be a world class fighter even as talented as he is.
