Comments Thread For: Arum Will Do His Part, Won't Trade Words With Mayweather

Top Rank promoter Bob Arum clearly wants the Manny Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather Jr fight to happen and says he won’t do anything to jeopardize any future negotiations with whoever represents Mayweather. [Click Here To Read More]

So in other words Arum is gonna shut his mouth everytime something doesn't go his way like he didn't do last time. I blame both sides for the fight not happening last time but Arum and company are really making it look like they had more to do with it since the negotiations fell through. Funny how he says he won't go back and forth with Mayweather when he was the one in the news the most last time while Golden Boy's side was pretty much quiet until they finally said the fight wouldn't happen a couple of days before it was called off.

Yeah he did. Matter fact, didn't that judge that proceeded over the negotiations as a mediator call out Arum for lying to the press about what was going on in the negotiations. I remember an article about it. Can't trust a thing Arum says.

Everybody talkin **** about Floyd can't move that well anymore. And Manny will knock him out. lol these people are idiots and obviously the people saying this are Pacquiaos biggest supporters what a coincidence. Make this fight happen so Mayweather can show the world what it really is.

Why didn't he have this same attitude during the 1st negotiations? Shows Pac needed more time to prepare for Floyd. It won't change the outcome though. Mayweather's too fast, too clever and too skilled for Pacquiao.

Umm, he has to talk to the Mayweather folks to get the deal done and if he is true to his word the negotiations may actually move quicker and issues get resolved so the fight can take place. Cant dent the fact that your post begs the question: Are you smarter than a 5th grader?
