The only fighters curently at welter i see giving Floyd problems are Margarito (assuming wear and tear hasn't taken a toll) and Pac.
I find that very funny, and this is coming from someone who's a fan of Floyd. Williams(despite his size) is a very good inside fighter. He always gives himself room to punch in close, he punches even when clinched and his ability to punch in odd angles while in close quarters confuses a lot of his opponents because they don't know where the shots are coming from. The only way Floyd wins this fight IMO, is if he shows the type of foot speed that he showed at lightweight which he has not shown in quite some time.

Did anyone see how small the crowd was at Williams' last fight?

Floyd will never fight him. With good reason too.

Floyd Mayweather beating Williams? Please, what has this forum come to? Mayweather can walk down guys like Judah and a very old Mosely but Williams is a different beast.

Williams throws too many punches, won't give Floyd's quite frankly poor power an ounce of respect and will basically bust him up, wear him down and stop him late. The Punisher only did his thing for 2 minutes against Cintron FFS (I ACTUALLY CAN'T BELIEVE PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO READ INTO THIS FIGHT - IT'S A DISGRACE). All it took was 2 mins as Cintron jumped out of the ring and quit!

How the **** did Cintron manage to trip up right at the ropes and go right through the ropes? But what he was showing early on shows what other boxers could do to Paul, you know Martinez was taking notes.

Martinez doesn't need notes........i thought he beat Paul the first time.

Williams had a bad few rounds.

He has this when he overlooks people

Like I think he was looking for Cotto when he faced Quintana but he lost

Williams has always been too open

lmao...im over here dying watchin re runs of the cintron/williams fight when he fell out the ring. yo i see us laughin about this for years to come.

but i really dnt think it was done on purpose. the more i look at it, the more i see cintron losing his balance and not being to stop himself. its kinda hard to imagine him bein scared to get hit but then bein brave enuff to jump on a table of metal. kinda dumb actually.

              ****s sti funny tho!!!

yes he creates room....but he is not faster than Floyd....he steps back to create room and then loops all the punches......Floyd will simply follow him in by stepping forward and throwing shorter shots.....

u may have valid points, but i can't visualise this guy beating floyd.....

He throws a lot of punches, but he's not obscenely powerful unlike Pacquiao. He has poor technique, squares himself up and makes himself a smaller target. Has a poor sense of distance. 2 for 75 with the jab against Kermit Cintron at one point. Face first defense.

I have a hard time believing this dude could beat Floyd. If he was a Boxer or had absurd hand speed I could see him beating Floyd, but not with that sloppy technique. Slip the first of his punches and you're in on him. Floyd's power may not be that good, but Pwill will be running into punches all night and that will take a lot out of anybody.

Way to early in the fight to make any real kind of judgement imo. P. Will didn't look that great tbh but for all we know he could have dominated the rest of the fight and no one would be talking about the first three rounds. Instead everyone would be saying how he's a 'force to be reckoned with', 'freak of nature' etc. It is what it is.
