I remember Barry McGuigan saying he could have moved to America to early Calzaghe and Hatton never made their American debuts to alot later.The way I look at it he can't fight bums in America .Malignaggi's a decent opponent I think 2nd defence. It could get alot more dangerous for him once he fights someone with real power and good all round fighter. .Another world champion you could look at was Bernard Dunne what happened to him when he fought Poonsaawat on his first defence it shows you how big a risk Maidana could be .It is a tough division for Khan but Roach beleives he can make him alot better and so do I because he's a good trainer.

getting bloody ridiculous now, everyone hanging on khan's every bloody word so they can twist if for or agaisnt him. i like khan as a boxer but he still has a lot to prove to win me completly over, you know what i mean when your guy is fighting, your hearts starts to pound a bit faster and heavier, you get more animated, start throwing the punches from your seat. maybe i'm just a daftie.

Back to the point i was trying to make, how come khan get more coverage and debate on these forums when he has not made it yet. At this point he's not even ranked top 3 in his division by most observers let alone top 3 pfp but gets far more coverage than bradley/alexander.

Only the big two get more coverage than him.

aslong as the talking is backed up by wins and good performances then fair enough.

the guy has a lot of self belief and is ambitious,although he needs to not get too far ahead of himself.

i respect amir to come back from a loss, move away from the Uk,away from molly codler warren and to go to the wild card gym and work hard with roach and improve.

calzaghe didnt come over here at all barely,and khan comes to the US early and wants to fight the big fights and the names and the tough opponents when he deems himself ready enough for it which will be the next fight or in 2 fights time.
