RATE: Miguel Cotto's Chin (1-10)

He has been down more than 3 times. I'm pretty sure Pacquiao dropped him twice, he went down twice against Margarito and I think Torres dropped him.

That being said I don't think he has a bad chin. Big punchers are supposed to drop people. I'd rate it 6-7/10

8, Cotto's defense is very lacking and his ability to recover is excellent. If Cotto moved his head more like he did in the past he wouldn't take unnecessary punishment.

In a lot of fights, he fought reckless and tried too hard to get the KO and got caught off balance and hurt in bad spots.

Back in the days his reflexes were excellent, i think his weak defense made him absorbe unnecessary punishment and took something out of his speed and reflexes.

Right in the middle. His chin is actually not good, he just masks it once he's gassed out by running. How can you say his chin is good when the hardest punchers that he's fought have stopped him besides Mosley?

not only that but the hardest punchers he's fought have put him on ellerbe street. Just look at the Torres and Corley fights where Cotto was basically gone.

However on the other hand, it's exactly what you said, the HARDEST punchers he's fought ...so if you get rocked only by the HARDEST punchers you've fought then obviously your chin isn't abysmal. A really bad chin gets rocked by even feather fisted fighters. Miguel has only been stopped or rocked by super hard punchers so obviously by default his chin is at least mediocre to average to DECENT.
