I saw it last night. I do know that williams has always had mediocre D, but his reflexes have diminished, believe it. When he would throw his reflex to put his hands back up was much slower than I'm used to seeing from him. His legs also aren't as good as before..I saw him lose his legs slightly a few times when he'd barely get hit. I've seen alot of williams fights, so believe me I know his mistakes...But he looked like he lost a step and no i do not think I'm jumping the gun...HE saw it himself, like when Cintron would catch him the look on his face was shock in the fact that he was like "wow, i really didn't see that at all" and i didn't see that against martinez...I'm telling you guys...Williams has lost a step. Not a shot at him, the dudes been in some tough fights (margarito, martinez) I had a feeling this would happen to him when I rewatched his fight with martinez...the shots he took were shocking at some points. BTW, I had Cintron leading 3-1 (even though the 4th didn't last long, I had to score what I saw.) All that being said, I felt that he was going to take cintron out eventually, I could just ee it in the way thins were starting to look ,even though he got hit with that monstrous right hand counter in the 4th. I could see him getting closer, Cinton takes breaks and is a pattern fighter alot but can countr punch well, but I knew paul was going to get him late. JUST MY OPINION PEOPLE. agree? disagree? or just you're input on this whole fiasco, peace my b-scene fam.
The fight with Martinez took something out of Williams

I had it 4-0 or 3-1 for Cintron and I think Cintron was going to outbox him. Sure Williams was turning it up but for what...like 10 seconds before Cintron flew out of the ring and from that, it is certain that Cintron would have folded down the stretch?
I don't see it, he was keeping distance from Williams and countering him nicely, I could see a bomb landing for Cintron more than a few times later on in the fight.Comment

His trainer told him in the corner to just box and not pressure until Cintron came forward. Cintron never did so then Williams began to pressure and thats when Cintron saw light at the end of the tunnel...........................by jumping out of the ring.Comment

Paul's gameplan was to make Cintron lead and he failed miserably, all there was to it. TS could be right, I don't know. But thats all I gotta say.Comment

At the most i would say he's been made much more cautious by the Martinez fight, that and the fact that he's been facing some very skilled fighters lately that are giving him as much as he can handle.Comment

I think we are making alot out of a very small percentage of a fight that took place and maybe some bad advice on PWill's corners part.Comment
