    paul williams last hope

There is no way pacquio or mayweather will fight this guy right now don't want another flop like clottey. Paul williams needs to fight the third biggest draw in boxing cotto. I think a 154 championship bout with williams retiring cotto will help his name more than a rematch with martinez who will be busy with pavlik or margriato since both are bigger draws then williams.

    Williams would dominate Cotto.

True. His height is just too much for them. But i still think both guys have a great chance to beat pwill. (pac/may)

Cotto would dominate him for the first 6 rounds with his superior movement and boxing ability. But running so much would take its toll on poorly conditioned Cotto and we would see a replay of the Margarito fight where Cotto then succumbs to the extreme volume of punches and gets TKO'd in 8 or 10 rounds or the corner throws in the towel against his destroyed face.

P.Will really isn't all that. He will get dominated by superior boxers, his workrate is what makes up for him. The only reason fighters avoid him is because he is a risky fight for anyone. P.will will never be world class but just a dangerous opponent. I can tell you it's not long till he gets a real bad ass whooping though, it's long overdue.

Cotto wins the first few rounds against Williams, loses the rest. The pressure bears down on you and it will break Cotto.

Cotto should become a better fighter with his first real trainer but pwill will go all out if they would fight as cotto, mosley are the only other household non boxing fan names that most people know. I would get that ppv with maybe a margriato vs martinez rematch as undercard?

Wasn't aware that Williams has the drawing power to face Cotto. The dude sold like 150 tickets, just like Mayweather says, its about money AND risk, Williams simply isn't worth the trouble. Not because of his skill but because the guy is 6'3" (yet HBO is constantly shrinking him down in tale of the tape, he was 6'2" against Sergio now he is 6'1.5" and I think 6'3" for the Marg fight.) Anyway, I would pick him over Cotto right now, unless Steward does something for Cotto's psyche. Cotto >>>>>> Pwill in terms of skill, but sheer volume will cripple Cotto no matter how skilled the other opponent is, at least now.
