The bottom line is that if Floyd is so adamant about changing the rules of this sport, he really needs to appeal to the various boxing commissions (starting in Las Vegas) and get them to implement Olympic style testing. As Pacquiao's team has stated, Floyd Mayweather does not run boxing, so he has no authority to impose his own rules; regardless if they make sense to a certain lot or even all of the fans. Regardless of who you prefer as a fighter, it makes zero sense at all to suggest that Pacquiao is in any way at fault for this fight not coming off so far. Pacquiao fans have argued that this fight was a sure thing until Floyd came up with his drug testing demand. The truth is, however, that Floyd would have simply stonewalled with something else. Even if Pacquiao submits to giving a blood test ten minutes before the fight, Floyd's team will kill this fight by asking for a ridiculous purse cut. Listen to Floyd and his team's statements for proof of this. They know that Roach and Arum are going to get Pacquiao to accept Floyd's 14-day cut off, and they are getting ready to put another road block in the way. The Floyd faithful won't see it that way, of course. They will insist that Floyd is the cash cow and that Pacquiao should be ecstatic to get his 30% cut.
