we do know for sure if cintron would have folded. he folded when he jumped out of the god damn ring after tasting three power shots.

It's a shame. Paul Williams is one of only a handful of pure all out action fighters in boxing and people still find a way to hate.

Williams is a freaking hype job. He got worked over by Martinez and the judges made sure that Williams was getting the W, and Cintron won every round of the fight last night (maybe lost the last rd) and one of the judeges had him winning every rd like in the Martinez fight. Paul could not get off and he was going to get crushed if that fight went 12 rds........Boxing is corrupt man for real.

And I hate Cintron but the guy deserved that win

Williams taxed Martinez's ass and that's why he got the W.

Cintron quit last night and that's why Paul got the W.

I personally think all the weight hopping is having an effect on Williams. He seemed a bit gunshy in there and his timing was way off.

It is almost like he knows he has some vulnerabilities now and does not go all out like he used to.

He should either stay at 154 or 160, get in a confidence building fight or two and settle in.

On another note, he also seemed really dry in there last night. I would not be surprised if he needs to fight at 160 now. He is no longer a young fighter and has to play smart. Pavlik paid a big price for hanging on to his belts and weight class too long. Paul might pay a price if he continues to hang out with the smaller guys.

Williams has contributed to this "most avoided" tag through his own decisions.

He says he can still make 147, but why did he move up to 154 after regaining the WBO belt from Quintana?
Margarito fought only a month after against Cotto and became the no1, Williams could have forced the issue by re-matching him and becoming the man at 147.

I personally think he is a good fighter that gives anyone from 147-160 trouble, but I can never see him dominating or ruling a division.
