Odds are Margarito will get the Pac fight. Arum wants to keep it all in the TR family. I'd love a Martinez rematch though. Sergio puts it on him.

I feel still Margarito has the advantage mentally.

You don't see guys revenge ko losses very much.

I think it's important to note both guys were young back then, and both have improved a lot.

I don't think it would be a Martinez blow out by any stretch but he would definitely be the betting favorite now.

The 2000-2002 version of Margarito is when he was actually at his best and in his prime, but that's just me. It looks like he has better defense and hand speed than the one who fought 2007-2009.

Martinez would smash Margs up, he more then deserves it anyway so id happily watch him get dominated.

Fair enough because that's when he won his titles. Then he fought less after.

But he fought Garcia pretty much how he fought Lujan without the showboating part, so it wasn't like Margarito could never box.

The thing about Margarito is that he throws a variety of punches at angles and he's always pretty much been good at doing that so this is why I think the Martinez fight can be close. He hasn't lost that part at all.

And Sergio is great at using his speed, but he can stand in a little too much and get nailed as he has done before.

It would be interesting and I bet they could make this fight somewhere.

Yo homie he was on a 16 month layoff after getting his ass kicked and going through that whole scandal, what do you want the man to do? are you that ****in dense?? besides Garcia was a live dog, he was though and a good man for Tony to come back to. And btw he already said he would love a fight with Martinez.
