Think about it, who would take a dive like that for a no contest?
They were not using the ABC rules (after the 4th rd) in this fight according to what I read. Under CSAC (I think it's new), fight goes to the scorecard after 3 rounds.

He's a damn liar. "I told the doctor I couldn't breathe and I was just trying to catch my breath". What the f*** ever Kermit! If you couldn't breathe then how were you able to speak?

This dude thinks playing dumb is always going to work. When Sergio Martinez knocked him out with a punch he tried to play dumb and say it was a headbutt.

This is the same dude that went down from punches that didn't even land from Margarito in their first fight. In the second fight he QUIT again.

Now he jumps out of the ring, supposedly loses his breath and somehow allows himself to be taken off on a stretcher?

LMAO @ whoever is dumb enough to belive this walking maxi-pad.

hmm, kermit does have a point about the 5 minutes. If he never said he couldn't continue he should have been allowed the full 5 minutes.

With that said he should have made an effort to get his ass up. If he wasn't laying there practically motionless the docs probably would have gave him the 5 minutes.

Either way, his fault, his mistake, his ******ity.

i thought he was countering well and was making a good account of himself. this is one of MANY reasons why i think fighters should avoid fighting in california. there is too much involvement from the referee, too many times we see the ref stopping fight. california which is my home state, is a sissy state, too many times fights get, not called, but interfered from the ref, too many times we see the doc stop the fight over nothing. look at how many fights recently have been shanghai'd from the refs and docs in cali. it's bull****, it's like they don't allow a fight to be a fight. it has to be this clean exhibition where no one gets touched and no one can ever have to deal with adversity.

CALIFORNIA the biggest nanny state of them all............ if i had any say, anything to do with a fighter, i would never allow him to fight in california, too many variables to lose, too many ways to lose, too many rules, too much doctor control over the outcome of the fights.

California should be boycotted by boxing..........

I dunno if he knows this, but he was on the ground for more than 5 minutes. Ultimately he is the one that can get up and start fighting again. He may have had a **** load of doctors in his ear, but ultimately it is his decision to get up and fight again. I don't think he was thinking about a 5 minute rule at the time he was on the ground sucking air. In saying this I don't think Paul williams wants this kind of win; he is a pretty grounded individual and would probably want to beat cintron down the road in a fair fight. I would have been pissed if I payed for this fight...

I would have gotten my money back, or beaten a receptionist to death if they wouldn't give me my money back for this garbage fight. This was no fight, this was a huge joke!
