The reason Paul Williams started so slow.

If you listen to the instructions that his corner was giving him, you'll hear them instruct Paul NOT to press the action. They tell him to sit behind the jab and wait for Cintron to come forward. Once Cintron starts coming forward Paul was instructed to drop the left hand on him and follow it up with a right hook.

That was the game plan. Paul simply listened to his corner. It had nothing to do with what Kermit Puto Cintron was doing.

Kermit the Puto was afraid to come forward so Paul had no choice. When Paul became the aggressor in the 4th, Kermit decided to get his jumpman on.

Uh, he even said it in the post fight interview that the plan was to be conservative and box early.

People are just ******. Cintron winning the first few rounds was because Williams just wasn't doing anything.

I'm surpised so many people missed this.
Thank you. Peterson clearly in plain english told him to wait and let him come to you.

Even post fight Paul said that was the plan to be patient early then turn on the heat. When Paul turned the switch on Kermit turned the ***** on.

This is true, at least from what I saw.

I will say that this is probably not the greatest tactic for PWill to utilize. Maybe one round of gauging, then go all out, no sense potentially giving up three in a row.

He called his private jet pilot to come by the 4th round; When he saw the pilot was not there yet, he went ahead on his own flight out of the ring.
