        The Las Vegas Athletic Commission also passed a rule that came into effect just after the Morales/Pac fight (voted on before the fight took place) that fighters can choose whichever gloves they want to fight with, as long as they weigh the same.
        Which means that one fighter can wear Everlast and one can wear Reyes in the same fight.

          I think it's just to distinguish who's who. Since they're both black men and wearing the same colored shorts, it's good to know who's who to the casual fans of the sport.

            I think it's actually just the preference of the fighter/who their sponsor is.

            Either way, you make a good point in that the casual fan will not know who is who, being that they ARE the same color, and neither are big name guys.
