Yeah, this excuse is not valid as long as it is 147lbs we are talking about.
Pacquiao can get away with turning down "Too tall" opponents at 154 but not at 147.

      He will.

      Be patient.

      Pavlik fight aint happening.

Margo might not get his license.

Only thing that could really stop the fight is if Mayweather wants the MW title too.

        Exactly right...

I understand 154 Pac is too small. That is fine. But, Pac has showed he is an elite WW arguably the best WW. Of course the debate is Floyd Mayweather.

So that means at the very worse Pac is the 2nd best WW. And, if Williams can make 147 then there is no excuse on why not to fight him.

Anybody notice how mad Jim Lampley got at the end when referring to PW's camp criticizing them for saying he can't make 147?

yea I noticed that. And, he did have a good point I thought by saying as long as P-Will fight at 154 and 160 fighters at WW have a valid excuse in not to fight him. Which is right....

If you're not campaigning at 147 you can't expect WW's to jump at the prospect of fighting you.

              Valid argument.

Though PW can say when he was at 147 he still had a hard time getting fights.

Mayweather will not fight a southpaw, common knowledge. So why bother with Williams. Williams himself gave up on that idea years ago.

I personally don't care to see a Mayweather-Williams matchup, it'd be complete one sided domination on Floyd's behalf. In my opinion, Williams is a sloppy, technically flawed, who seems lost when he's matched up against boxers. I hardly see him winning a round in a possible Floyd matchup.

                    I'd rather see a Mayweather-Martinez matchup. A chess match.
                    id rather prefer mayweather-martinez tbh
