Hard to imagine a professional athlete looking as lame as Cintron did. Something isn't right with the guy. He'll probably try to blame this on Margarito too.

wtf was the doctor supposed to do? try to pick him up?
cintron didnt even try to move. if he was really hurt, why keep him in such an akward position? you're supposed to stabilize his head, not keep him putting weight on his head/neck.
that was all cintron. the doctor had no choice since cintron refused to move.
he only started acting like he still wanted it after he heard the decision.
serves him right for his BS stunt to backfire and he's still in the arena to hear it.
he sure looked all right when he pounded on the ambulance door.

first off, i don't believe he jumped on purpose. not now, anyway. you can't judge cintron from that slow motion vid. watch it in real time and see if you can catch yourself if you were in his position. second, his upper body was already through the ropes before he "jumped." i would have wanted to go through the ropes all the way, too, instead of taking the chance of the ropes catching you and have yourself pulled back and your face slammed toward the corner edge of the ring.

i saw it differently. the doctor was putting his hand on top of him and telling him not to move as a precaution. and during this kind of injury, you're supposed to minimize or avoid moving the body. that's why the doctor made him stay still like that til the stretcher came.
