he lost in the quarters to jose perralta. he was soundly outboxed.

I'm surprised that 5 of these 10 bouts had Detroit/Michigan fighters in the finals. I've been trying to find a new gym and there are very few around here. Not sure where they are all training.

keep looking bro. some of the best fighters come out of flint/detroit area. toney, mayweather, dirrell, hearns, etc, etc, etc. you're bound to find something legit if you look hard enough.

Cong**** to Errol Spence. I sparred with him at his gym several times when I was boxing, in 2006. He was at Viveros boxing club at the time. I believe he trains at H.O.C at the present.

one of my gym mates made it all the way to the semifinal (friday).he was eliminated with one day to go.cong**** to him for ranking 3rd overall.its true that you need to be in supreme shape all around to fight a whole week.making weight every day isnt easy.another gym mate made it to the florida regional box off (there is a north and south florida gg tourny and the winners from the north box off with the south to determine the florida gg champ)and was eliminated.
