Marcus was tearing ppl up before the Finals...heard his fight with David Thompson wasn't all that...

Marcus had a bad hand entering the Nationals...he had injured it and badly hurt it(he came out to L.I. to spar) at my gym...it was looking bloated around the knuckle...suprised he won a few fights before losing...

khalib must be a beast if he beat marcus. heard that one was highly contested, so he might have been drained heading into that final. national gloves is a lot about the matchups you get because tough fights against tough matchups will take a toll on you for future fights.

im from cheltenham originally, before i moved to nyc. where you train?

yea. the fight with dave was awkward. daves a hard guy to look good against. i think dave could beat him in a rematch, but he was way too tentative. dave does that sometimes- tarver syndrome, but his rematch record is phenomenal. there won't be one in the am's though, cause dave's turning pro, but yeah, it was an uneventful fight.

Yeah my gymmate(Herve Duroseau 165-0) predicted that Marcus wouldn't look good...can't believe Herve lost to Vincente D'Angelo...he's better than him...

I hear Marcus may be goin to 201...so you and Travis may be at the forefront of 178 Open...

mspiegelo, what gym do u fight out of? or was fighting out of?
damn I didn't think anyone on here knew about Marcus Browne. He is one of my favorite fighters and hopefully he has gotten his attitude under control. Dude is highly talented but he seems to have an bad attitude like a young Zab Judah.
