Come on Yev your smarter than that. Floyd tied Shane up like he was suppose to then he shut him down. It had nothing to do with Shane and everything to do with Floyd. Shane can still come back and beat Bertos for the title. Like I said before the fight, Shane was in with someone that's everything he always wanted to be and it got overwhelmed.

next time carefully read people's comment before posting. did i say the ring has Floyd as P4P king? I said "I think". but that doesn't matter, the previous comment i was replying to was about boxingscene having floyd as No. 1... go ahead and give me that "check your sources next time before posting" BS

Mayweather fought the oldest version of Mosley coming from a f'n 16 month layoff.
Mosley was almost retired. Mosley could've been on some kind of substance before and with Mayweather asking for blood test he probably laid off it.

Roach is full of so much sh-- it's pathetic. Submit to testing or shut the **** up. So Floyd is so slow that he just completely shut down both of the guys your man wanted absolutely no part of. Aint nothing holding Manny up right now but the biased press and his whack ass fans.

A 38 yr old who at the time was coming off his best victory in years and was ranked as the top welterweight in the division prior to his getting dismantled last wkend. Look, homie..this is boxing so you're going to get hit..you fight enough times then you're going to get rocked in that ring. The most important aspect is how you handle being stunned or being dropped and we all saw what happened as a result of that mosely rt hand (He got shut out..and why are folks saying he was in command of the the 1st rd when mayweather won rd 1 on 2 of 3 scorecards so at best it was a close feeling out rd.). No one can question floyd's metal after watching that rd. He never panicked. He was never in jeopardy of being stopped. All he did was recover as quickly as he was stunned and take shane apart for the next 10 rds. Pac will NOT stop floyd if they so happen to meet. Hell, in 2 fights he's dropped Marquez 4 x's but couldnt finish him. Aside from being an a gifted athlete with superior boxing ability & a blue collar work ethic, Mayweather's greatest gift is his ring IQ which enables him to make timely adjustments during his fights. Like him or dislike him, no one can argue with that comment bc he's shown the ability to do that time & time again. Superior ring generalship..he's going to find a way to control the pace & the rhythm of that fight and until some puts a blemish on that '0' then I'm convinced that one asset alone will keep him undefeated for quite some time. You simply wont find that many fighters in the history of the sport of have exhibited that degree of ring intelligence and ability to adjust as the fight develops.

He tried, but Floyd covered up well, then Mosley went for the body and Floyd tied him up. What i do notice, however, is that Mosley got surprised by everything Mayweather had to offer, and as a result was clueless. Another thing, i pointed out to my dad during the fight, after which Mosley corroborated, was that he (Mosley) seemed overwhelmed by the occasion and had a few nerves tightening up on him.

The thing that i notice about Floyd's opponent is that they always get caught up in trying to figure out how to beat him instead of trying to correct their own flaws, of which Floyd always seem to exploit quite easily. Another thing-watch how every fighters loses to Floyd the same way they lost their last fight, or the way they had trouble in their last fight. I also notice if he can't beat u with your weaknesses he fights u with his strengths.

The guy is pure boxing, my dad had me watching boxing for 25 years now and he was Mayweather's biggest critic, because i introduced him to the fighter in Mayweather when he was telling me about everyone else, and after the Shane fight he said Floyd is the best he's ever seen.
