Guaranteed. They only want Pacquiao-Mayweather. Sure, it's good for Williams to get this TV exposure, but HBO is still trying to do everything they can to get Floyd and Manny to fight each other. They'll point out in the telecast that the ticket sales are bad (which I don't know how many tickets this fight sold) or talk about Williams being unappealing to casual fans because he doesn't have one punch KO power.
If Williams wins tonight, HBO will try to shoot down a Mayweather-Williams fight.

It's odd that you brought this up. Because one of the things I'm looking forward to is the commentary. -
Hopefully after Williams beats this whiner and KOs him, it will get people excited about the fight. But I just think Lampley and Merchant or whoever will suggest against a Mayweather-Williams fight. I know that Kellerman in the past has been accused of being a Williams nuthugger. But it might be warranted and needed tonight.Comment

What do you think the commentators will say after Williams says he wants Floyd and Pac? You think they'll actually say hey wait your turn they have to fight now? I think whoever's commentating will say good luck with that and we're looking forward to your next fight.Comment

They will say that while they are interviewing him. But during the fight they might say that he's dangerous and doesn't bring the kind of prestige and money that Floyd is looking for, and Floyd should avoid him at all costs. Something of that nature instead of encouraging people to demand that the fight happen.Comment

Give me a break. There is zero chance Mayweather fights Williams, you can call HBO haters all you want, but that's the truth.
Pacquiao vs Mayweather still has a better chance of being made, despite the first fight not being made.Comment
