its a growing sport but not taking over boxing.

boxing is an established sport way long before we were born and even the dumbest persons on earth heard it in any spot in this world. boxing had some low point but it bounced back because it has already carved its niche in people's life.

mma, has good strategies in marketing it and the way it is hyped. the question: how long can they maintain these strategies? mma has yet to prove its existence worldwide to compete against boxing.

The only reason MMA is popular is the way UFC is promoted. Otherwise, it'd still just be an underground sport 95% of the world hasn't heard about. I've got nothing against UFC, but it doesn't have anything on boxing.
