margarito, cotto nope ...
mayweather. oh yeah. mayweather makes every fight boring - rotfl
the only excitement was courtesy of mosley in round 2 when he
stunned maywaether
What's this emphasis on 'excitement' as defined by morons?
To a layman, a UFC fan or someone who thinks boxing should resemble a scene from Enter The Dragon, watching Floyd is probably not as exciting as watching some hench dumb-**** pound another hench dumb-**** repeatedly in the face while he's prone on the ground. But to a boxing fan, what Floyd does is exciting.
I appreciate boxing needs to capture the interest of casuals and non-fans to thrive and prosper, but there will always be fighters who will deliver the kind of excitement you're talking about - and beside that, Floyd's fight-catalogue is nowhere near as uneventful as you cats like to make out.
From the POV of a boxing fan, what Floyd does is a gift from God, and when he hangs 'em up for good he will be missed, believe it. You guys talking about how Mayweather fans are too concerned with his finances are hypocrites, because you don't need to be stressing about the economic neccessity of attracting casual 'fans' to the sport, either -- acting like you really care about boxing's health and aren't just using the issue as a front for your personal hatred of one guy -- yet you still do it. So take your own advice, let the TV people and the promoters worry about all that - you just sit back and get down to the business of setting a good example and enjoying and supporting BOXING (assuming you actually do enjoy the sport).
Or, if you wanna make such a discussion point of it, at least also accept the role economics plays in how a guy like Floyd chooses who to fight and when to fight them, and stop bitching, 'cause his detractors thread and post about that **** just as much as his fans do.
