I got a bad feeling about Paul WILLIAMS tonight...

For some reason, I have a bad feeling that P-Dub is in for a bad night and a loss against Cintron.

Everything about my boxing brain tells me that Williams should dust off Cintron easily. Pun is taller, busier, has been at the higher weights, has better stamina, looked better against common opponents, and is the higher volume puncher.

Williams has shown no lack of heart, and Cintron has bitched on a few occasions.

Everything in my boxing mind tells me Williams TKO 10. but for some reason, i just can't shake a bad feeling that a Cintron right hand will derail Paul.

Plus, Tall Paul and his trainer have taken to doing a lot of ****-talking. That concerns me.

So, i'll call it: Williams TKO 10 Cintron.

But I am not the least bit surprised at a Paul loss tonight.

I see alot of people saying this. I have no idea when Williams has shown a bad chin. Dude ate plaster shots for 12 rounds from Margarito. He gets caught with a hook he doesnt see and gets dropped for the first time in his career he hops right up and now hes Amir Khan.

Cintron will land the right hand and Paul will eat it like candy.

Williams should really win by TKO tonight, but Cintron's power could be a deciding factor. Still, Williams is one tough bastard, and he has a lot of heart. Cintron will likely fold against his style.

Kermit is going to win the first few rounds, outboxing Paul and land clean shots. If he keeps it up, he can win but he won't keep it up. Not against Paul Williams. Watch him fake some rabbit punches or low-blows to get catch a break cause Paul is not going to let him breathe.

paul should win the fight, he's got a high workrate, and we've seen in the margarito fights (plaster or not) that cintron melts under pressure.

however he handily beat another pressure fighter in angulo, so you never know how his new style will work for him.

it's a high possibility the fight will go a decision

I'm not putting him in A Mere Con territory. Yet. lol

But seriously, Paul used to be this head down/just work type dude. Suddenly he is talking smack and is entering Vivian Harris territory.

He didn't wither for Angulo. And Perro may not have the workrate of Paul, but he does keep the pressure up.

I re-watched the Williams/Martinez fight early and Paul Williams got f**ked up I don't know how he won that fight but I love his heart he never gives up and thats a plus for him but as for tonight we already know Cintron breaks under pressure so Williams should be able to handle him no need to worry
