2 Strange Things About Last Week

1- I think everyone agrees that Shane is clearly taller. A good inch if not a little more and it shows up clearly whenever they stand side by side. However, in the ring it looked as though Floyd had damn near an inch on Shane. Anybody else peep that? I put that on Floyd's ability to switch styles in every fight. He's the only guy in the game that does that. Shane crouches in most of his fights which lowers his height. Some fight Floyd bends, croutches, leans back, and then in some matches he fights tall & rangy.

Thats why I think he will do better against guys like Sergio & Williams than people think because he has the ability to fight taller than them. He's definitely not going to be talller than them but Williams always bends over & Martinez always fights on a bit of a lean but Floyd can stay tall. I think he will also fight tall against Pac and try to stand over him with a long jab. That will help him offset the Southpaw advantage that Pac will have.
    ------------------------

The 2nd strange thing was the post fight stuff with the mainstream media. You can tell that pretty much every ESPN reporter doesnt know boxing. Im not saying that they have to pick Floyd to win but you can tell that they just started watching both him & Pac, they see Pac knocking everyone out, so in there mind he is like way over Floyd. All of there topics & talk are always directed towards "if" Floyd can do anything to Pac. After the JMM fight I remember they were all just laughing and saying that there is no way Floyd can stand toe to toe in front of Pac or he will get KO. Its not that they just believed it but they said it in a way like Floyd was so inferior.

Then after the Mosley fight all the questions on shows like PTI, ATH, 1st & 10, and Jim Rome were does the Mosley fight make you think that Floyd has a better chance than you thought before. They were asking it like Pac was the clear favorite by a mile. The funny thing is that every single one of them responded by saying NO and all of them still think Pac will knock him the **** out. I remember a couple of fights ago on PTI, Wilbon was saying that Pac will kill him like he always does & Kornheiser said that he just wants to see the fight but he said the reason he wants to see it is to see if Pac is as great as everyone says because right now they have him as top 3 all time. But he said it in a way like Pac was the clear man and an ATG which Floyd definitely is not.

Thats why I keep saying on here that Vegas can say what they want about the odds but I bet anything that by fight night Pac will either be the favorite or he will be damn close because the mainstream sees Pac as a killer & Floyd as the inferior runner. Or I bet that Floyd will be the favorite while Pac will have alot more people bet on him. Meaning that a ton of main stream people will bet on Pac but he wont be the favorite even with more bets because the people who really know boxing will put big money on Floyd due to the odds. Massive money.

Those 2 things just stick out to me though. How Floyd seemed to be taller than Shane and how despite what we hear in the hardcore boxing world about Floyd being the favorite, in the main stream its Pac by a mile and most think that Floyd is inferior to him

    1) Floyd isn't a small WW... he's a good sized WW (around 160 lbs) and very strong. Nobody his size or smaller than him should be favored over him

    2) Floyd should've stopped mosley. then maybe he'd get some love from casual fans.

Man I saw the same thing, Floyd came in looking as big as Winky Wright, he looked everybit of 5'10. When they both entered the ring I thought Floyd had spacers on in his shoes b/c I knew Shane was the taller bigger man but he looked smaller on every level. Im glad u saw that 2.

According to *******s, Floyd demanded that USADA remove three vertebrae from Shane just prior to the fight.
