PBF beat an average SSM. The SSM that lost 5 times alrdeady.
Hugh I think you forgot to read the first post of the thread.

Same Mosley that beat Margarito. If Floyd kept walking in with no defense or head movement like Margarito did, SM would have knocked Floyd out.

And that would have been the stuff of your masturbatory fantasies.

People just expose how little they know about boxing. When they say "something was wrong with Shane".

The only the wrong with Shane was that Floyd Mayweather was in front of him.

Nope wrong again.......bring some knowledge to the table next time.

Shane had a very good punchers chance….thats it. ODLH outboxed and beat an EPO laced Molsey in their rematch….Wright beat him with a jab and Cotto outboxed him center ring. They all did this with a jab and nothing else behind it…..how was Shane really going to fare against a fighter who could use that same jab (just as good, if not better) but then follow the jab with murderous str8 right hands???…….the answer…the same as he fared against Forrest….he got his ass whooped.

Styles make fights. Margarito (pre getting his chin cracked by Mosley) would do alot better against Floyd than Shane did....alot better. Margo is a fighter who doesn't react to feints.....he doesn't care.....he knows his chin or body will take the shot and he accepts that in order to get off his combos in return....and he repeats that cycle with constant pressue (see Cotto fight).....but with Shane he had a fighter who was willing to stand in front and trade....Shane beat him to the punch and has murderous power......that's why Shane looked good against Margarito...Margarito squared up, didn't move as always and got out punched.....

            here end of the lesson.

Bottom line is SSM performs badly often. So PBF shouldnt get much credit for the win. Fight Pac, and then a few others and fight past your prime, and shot and if you still perform well. Then you deserve to be an ATG.

                "SSM performs badly often"

What does that even mean? Didnt the Clottey, Hatton, and Oscar Pac fought "perform badly often"?

You dont have to fight shot to prove your an ATG. What kind of logci is that? You have to fight while your shot? Ummmm you would be .......shot!!

Floyd was sealed as an ATG before he even moved to 147. How long have you been following his career?

Maybe you know more about boxing than Emmanuel Stewart then?

What are you talking about? He said Shane was jittery. Shane always fights like that. Floyd Sr even said that.

"I expected the fight to go like this"

                    ---Steward

So what are you talking about?

Is this the same guy that favoured Mitchell and Baldomir over Floyd Mayweather Jr??

Manny is **** at predicting a fight before the bell rings....let him see 2 or 3 rds and he can tell u exactly how the fight will play out like it's nobodies business.
