It's easier said then done, I personally think Manny's footwork ****s on Shane Mosleys.

could work...it always boggled me why a body puncher like cotto never decided to go to the body against manny. he could have used that to his advantage...instead he went head hunting...

Manny is always moving, its hard to land body shots on someone constantly moving.

thats where ring intelligence comes into play, u gotta be able to trap opponents at that level. cotto had the gifts, he just never had any great coaching. hopefully this emmanuel stewad move pays off for him.

you know what ? there might be alot of great fights ahead
with cotto hiring steward ... we might still have
a leonard hearns hagler type scenario ...
(probably not with floyd though because he doesnt seem to like to
            fight - rotfl)

From experience, I feel throwing/landing body punches on a smaller guy is much harder and dangerous.

thats when hes fighting bigger men who come at him though, that wouldnt be the case if he fought floyd. he would be the one trying to chase floyd down, and when mannys the aggressor hes much sloppier and easier to hit. hes over aggressive sometimes, reaches with his punches, gets his feet out of position, squares up etc

floyd has a height and reach advantage and is on pacs speed level. not to mention hes much smarter than anyone pac fought except for marquez, who didnt have any problems finding something to hit against pac. pac makes mistakes so u just gotta be smart.

floyd has to worry about getting hit against pac, i dont see landing punches as an issue for floyd at all.
